Marie Louise Mohr, above, is the great-granddaughter of Frederick W.C. and Margaret Geyer who settled in Buffalo, New York between 1850 and 1860. We will add new research to the website as it is discovered. According to a naturalization record at the Erie County Hall archives, our Geyers came to America in 1853. When Frederick and Margaret Geyer and their children first appeared in the Buffalo, New York City Directory in 1858, other Geyers were already here. Frederick was a cigar manufacturer and some of his sons worked with him in the business.
