I'm here to share with you some tips about raising worms, composting, gardening (with cats in mind), ponding, and how it works for me, and might work for you! I found this blank canvas in 1991: The 1991 BEFORE view is pretty boring, isn't it? You see only a flat lawn, an old shed and a yucca by the garage. So, I got busy making compost and raising worms. The AFTER view shows what the same area looks like in mid-November 2002 (the old shed is still back there). Of course, every year it looks a little different from the previous years! Votes:0 Welcome to The Garden Spot. This is one garden that you can step in as many times as you like, and nobody will complain. I have been an avid gardener for over 20 years, and have learned a lot just by trial and error. I think the most important rule of gardening is "Location, Location, Location!" If you plant things in the proper place, with the right amount of lighting and drainage, then you can't possibly miss. If you have questions about proper location, colors, plant size, or blooming seasons, you should find some answers in the pages of The Garden Spot, as well as the links to other great gardening sites. Keep in mind that gardening is akin to redecorating...if you don't like the way something looks you can always "rearrange" it.
