LORAN NEWS UPDATE UK LAUNCHES FIRST LORAN STATION Trinity House, London , the navaid provider for the British Isles , has selected VT Communications to establish an E-LORAN station in Cumbria , (Northern) England . VT Communications will operate and maintain the station for 15 years. The first signals will be transmitted on 1 October 2007 . The trial service at Rugby will terminate by the end of July 2007.
