Sustainable Farming Connection Recommended sites: The New Farm USDA SARE program Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas Way back in 1997, I started this site along with several other former New Farm editors to try to fill the gap left when Rodale Institute ceased publication of that magazine. In 2003, things came full circle when the Institute launched the NewFarm.org website. You'll see some familiar names there, including former New Farm editors Greg Bowman and George DeVault, and research farm manager Jeff Moyer.
