How to convert Coins to Pennies:
A nickel is worth 5 pennies.
A dime is worth 10 pennies.
A quarter is worth 25 pennies
Multiply the number of a type of coin times its value in pennies.
Example: How many pennies are three dimes worth? 3*10=30

Converting Pennies to Dimes
To convert pennies to dimes, divide the number of pennies by 10. The quotient will tell how many dimes can be obtained from the pennies. The remainder should be less than ten cents which is less than the value of a dime.

Get as much money in your piggy bank as possible, by figuring out the correct change.
Figure out how many of each bill or coin that you expect to get back when you pay for something. For example, if something costs $3.75 and you pay with a five dollar bill, you would expect back one quarter and one dollar bill.
