Project Objectives
1) To search the Internet to find companies who freely provide annual reports to the public including the following statements: Income Statement, Statement of Owner's Equity, and Balance Sheet.
2) To use these statements throughout the year as an actual source to apply knowledge learned in class.
3) To apply financial analysis formulas to actual statements.
4) To make judgments about results as to the solvency and success of company.

Spreadsheet Lesson #1
A spreadsheet is an example of what we call system software--software that runs on an operating system (such as Windows, DOS, UNIX, O/S). Spreadsheets are very useful. A spreadsheet is basically a grid of rows (usually numbered 1,2,3...) and columns (usually lettered A,B,C...).
