A Pirates Life!
This Pirate Song ( 1 of 3 )
This song is sung to the tune of: This Old Man
This pirate,
Has a hat,
Where a skull and cross bones sat,
With an 'Ar, Ar, Ar' and an 'Aye Matey',
This pirate sailed on the sea.
This pirate,
With a patch,
He sailed around without a scratch,
With an 'Ar, Ar, Ar' and an 'Aye Matey',
This pirate sailed on the sea.
This pirate,
Wears an earring,
Made with fishing hook and string,
With an 'Ar, Ar, Ar' and an 'Aye Matey',
This pirate sailed on the sea.

Some were large (stretch hands upward)
and some were small. (crouch down)
Some liked water (swimming motions)
and some walked on land (stomp feet)
Some had wings that flapped and flapped (flap arms)
Some had long necks, that stretched and stretched. (hand on neck stretching upward)

Disney Song Lyrics
Here are lyrics from a number of Disney movies. I have limited myself to Disney animated "masterpieces", as they call them nowadays. Note that I do not have access to official Disney lyrics, so I cannot just pull up any lyrics from any movie. Lyrics from older movies are taken from Debbie Pickett's ancient collection. For the movies since The Little Mermaid, I have bought the soundtrack and typed in the lyrics from the inlay. You can guess how ruinous that would be if I did i ...

KINDERGARTEN MUSIC ACTIVITIES:
The Kindergarten Music Curriculum coordinates as closely as possible with the studies of the regular classroom teacher. For example, long and short sound studies will include changing the way we sing the "ABC" song and playing long and short sounds on instruments as we name the colors of scarves that we pull out of a hat.
The units of study are broken into three, twelve-week periods. The units and corresponding materials are listed below:

nce upon a time...
when men wore powdered wigs and rode in gilded carriages, a baby boy was born in the beautiful town of Salzburg,
in the Austrian Mountains.
The date was January 27th, 1756.
At that time, unlike Europe, there were no buildings or houses in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the very place where this particular story of Mozart was first told.
Why, in 1756, Colorado's Yampa Valley
was home to the Ute Indians!

YMCA CAMP LOOWIT CAMPFIRE SONGS
Do you remember these songs?. The song I remember most of all is "Rise and Shine". Of course, the songs we learned during the boys session were a little different than the grils camps. Another one I remember was "The Ants Come Marching ". I don't think we ever sang it at campfire, but we sure did on our overnight hikes. Those hills.....we walked up.... I wish ...

There's a place for you and a place for me,
it's the local public library.
They have books and things that they lend for free
It's the latest, it's the greatest, it's the library.
Educational, informational,
entertainment that's sensational.
It's a way of life, it's for you and me
It's the latest, it's the greatest, it's the library.
They have histories, they have mysteries
And for mothers, books of recipes
See a movie show, hear a symphony
It's the latest, it's the greatest, it's the library.
