HONG KONG
Prison Conditions in 1997
I. Summary and Recommendations
While showing the strains of overcrowding and, in some facilities, understaffing, the Hong Kong prison system has much to recommend it. The judicial/prison system most often comes up in feminist discussion in deciding how to deal with men who commit crimes against women. The urgency of ending violence against us has compelled women to implicitly support this system.
However, in doing this, we cut ourselves ...

This report is based on an interview with one of Morocco's victims.
