New report on Jurassic Reefs in Alabama
Jurassic Reefs of the Smackover Formation in South Alabama is a new publication of the Geological Survey of Alabama (Circular 195, by David Kopaska-Merkel), which describes fossil reefs that form an important part of the Smackover Formation, Alabama's most prolific hydrocarbon-producing unit.
