The Earth Witness Community's purpose is to celebrate the existence of and bear witness to species and natural places on the Earth that no longer exist in their natural state.
We honor the many living creatures whose evolutionary line ended as humankind expanded across the earth over the last two centuries, and we honor the many places in the natural world that are now gone because of this expansion.
