CAMELS There are four species of camel. They are the: Bactrian, Dromedary, Guanace and Vicuna camels. The camel is one of the few creatures that can stand up to extreme heat and still do work carrying heavy loads. Camels will eat almost anything even tent cloth, mats and baskets.
